When I was searching for a school for my daughter, my only priority was her emotional comfort. I had faced a lot of challenges with my older son, so I told the school faculty honestly even if nothing is taught, it’s fine, just make sure she feels safe and happy staying there for a few hours.
To my surprise, from the very first day, she felt at home. Now, after six months, she looks forward to school every single day. Each night before going to bed, she excitedly asks, ‘Mama, is there school tomorrow?’ And when it’s Sunday, she gets genuinely sad that she can't go. That kind of bond with a school is truly special.
